Fall in love with the rustic elegance of this Large Pitcher from MJB Ceramics. Working on a potter's wheel, Matt Biasotti handcrafts every piece using the unique tools of his trade. Each piece is made to be exclusive - when you buy a piece of this Montana pottery, you know that no one else in the world will have the same piece that you do. Finished with hand-poured glazes, you'll notice how Biasotti lets the dripping of the glaze take its own path, creating unique coloring and designs, particularly around the bottom of each pitcher. Finished with the stamp of his brand, it lets you know that you're getting a true piece of functional art made in Montana! 

Matt Biasotti grew up in Mill Valley, California and is now one of the ceramics instructors and Gallatin High School in Bozeman, Montana. Having studied wood-fired ceramics at Montana State University, being able to both continue his own work and educate the next generation of artists is one of his truest passions. As you'll notice in all of his Montana pottery, he enjoys letting the firing and glazing process take the pieces where they may. Instead of trying to control what the piece does or how it may turn out, he lets the clay and glaze succumb to the firing, celebrating whatever shape and style comes out of the finished product.
