Fred Conlon discovered a love for the arts in 1998, where he knew he wanted to create a business based on his passions. With his family's support, he opened a little pottery shop that year, Sugarpost Pottery. A year later he made his first metal army helmet turtle and ignited his passion for metal work. In 1999 he switched gears and Sugarpost Metalwork was born. He began to gather different types of scrap metal and launched his adorable Gnome Be Gone line. Now Fred Conlon shares his creature creations to keep any backyard or garden the safest it can be.
