This year's Christmas Stroll will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 4:30pm - 7:30pm.
Get ready for a jolly good time at the 2024 Downtown Bozeman Christmas Stroll! Join us for some fantastic fun, delicious eats, and loads of laughter. Bring the whole family and snap a pic with Santa Claus, soak in the magic of downtown decorations, or even join in on the fun-filled gingerbread house contest. Enjoy singing Christmas carols, having tasty treats from non-profit food vendors, and of course, have a chance to cross off some items from your holiday shopping list!
Daytime Stroll activities:
Morning Fun: Santa Run for Education
- 9 AM - 12 PM: Santa Run Hosted by the Bozeman Schools Foundation
- Day-of Registration: Closes at 9 AM, so be sure to arrive early!
’Tis the Season at the Emerson

11 AM - 3 PM: Family-friendly festivities include performances, holiday sing-alongs, and art activities. Explore open studios, meet local artists, and shop for unique gifts.
- Galleria Hall: Open until 7:30 PM.
- Artist’s Gallery: Features over 20 local artists, offering original works in blacksmithing, ceramics, painting, and more. Don’t miss the Snowman Photo Booth for the kiddos!

- Ladybird & Friends: Art, jewelry, and gifts in the Verge Theater space.
- Kelsey Dzintars Art + Design (West Wing #5): Open studio and sale.

At the intersection of S Willson & Main, local school choirs will fill the air with festive tunes:

- 5:00 PM: Emily Dickinson Elementary Choir
- 5:20 PM: Longfellow Elementary Choir
- 5:40 PM: Morning Star Elementary Choir
- 6:00 PM: SMS Select Choir
- 6:20 PM: Bozeman High School Jazz Choir
- 6:40 PM: Monforton Elementary Chorus
- 7:00 PM: Monforton Middle School Choir
Christmas Stroll Parade (4:30 PM)
The Christmas Stroll Parade begins at Main & Willson, led by Heidi Krutchkoff, and Santa himself! The parade vehicle, courtesy of Bridger Bowl, will be escorted by uniformed cadets from the Montana Youth Challenge Academy. Join in the fun as the Chief Joseph Middle School Choir helps light the Downtown Bozeman Christmas Spiders and rings in the holiday season!
Festive Food & Activities (4:30–7:30 PM)
- Food Vendors: Main Street will be lined with vendors offering delicious treats, all supporting local Non-Profits.
- Holiday Activities: Sponsors and local Non-Profit groups will host crafts, caroling, fire pits, and more.
- Live Music & Fun: Downtown businesses will feature live performances, holiday treats, and gift shopping opportunities.
Santa Photos at the Baxter Hotel (5–7:30 PM)
- Location: 105 W Main St
- A $4 Stroll Button is required for ages 1+.
- Take a festive photo with Santa, captured by 406 Photo, and enjoy holiday music performed by the Bridger Mountain Harmony Chorus.
- Stop by Ted’s Montana Grill for cookies, holiday card-making, and festive drinks, or grab a cocktail from Bacchus Pub.
Holiday Noir (8 PM)
- The evening entertainment continues with Holiday Noir. Get ready for a festive, jazzy celebration to close out the day.
