Christmas Stroll in Downtown Bozeman!
Join us for Bozeman’s most beloved holiday tradition and come kick-off the holiday season in Downtown Bozeman!
This year's Christmas Stroll will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 4:30pm - 7:30pm.
Get ready for a jolly good time at the 2023 Downtown Bozeman Christmas Stroll! Join us for some fantastic fun, delicious eats, and loads of laughter. Bring the whole family and snap a pic with Santa Claus, soak in the magic of downtown decorations, or even join in on the fun-filled gingerbread house contest. Enjoy singing Christmas carols, having tasty treats from non-profit food vendors, and of course, have a chance to cross off some items from your holiday shopping list!
Below is a FULL Schedule of Downtown Stroll activities.
Daytime Stroll activities:
- 9 am - 12 pm - Santa Run Hosted by the Bozeman Schools Foundation
- Day-of Registration - Ending at 9 am
- 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Gingerbread houses are to be made prior to the event date, and displayed at the American Legion's second floor event space.
Downtown Bozeman Christmas Stroll:
- 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Music Performed by Local School Choirs at N Wilson & Main
- 4:30 - Gallatin High School Jazz Choir
- 5:00 - Emily Dickinson Elementary School Choir
- 5:30 - Morning Star Elementary Choir
- 6:00 - BHS Jazz Choir
- 6:30 - Monforton Elementary School Choir
- 6:50 - Monforton Middle School Choir
- 4:30 pm - At 4:30, the Christmas Stroll Parade is kicking off at the Main & Wilson intersection. Santa and RC Townsend will be spreading joy down our iconic Main Street, lighting up our annual Christmas spiders along the way. Big shoutout to Bridger Bowl for providing the parade vehicle, and will be led by uniformed cadets from the Montana Youth Challenge Academy!
- 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Between 4:30 and 7:30, Main Street is turning into a foodie's paradise! With a fantastic lineup of vendors, who are either run by a nonprofit organization or are generously donating a chunk of their proceeds to a nonprofit of their choice. So, when you grab a delicious bite, you're not just treating yourself – you're also supporting a fantastic cause!
- 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm - From 4:30 to 7:30 you can join in on the Christmas spirit as a collective of sponsors and local nonprofit groups host holiday-inspired activities! From fire pits live caroling, and even arts and crafts, make sure to join in on the festivities.
- 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm - From 4:30 to 7:30 several downtown business will join in on the fun! The 2022 Christmas stroll will feature live music, sweet treats, and wonderful Christmas gift shopping!
- 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm - Head to the Baxter Hotel for holiday fun!
- With the purchase of a $4 Stroll Button (required for ages 1+) you can get your photo taken with Santa at the Baxter Hotel located at 105 W Main Street! Photos are taken by 406 Photo; get your FREE Santa Photo Download.
- Delight in a live performance of holiday classics by Bridger Mountain Harmony Chorus.
- Enjoy holiday cookies and DIY Christmas cards provided by Ted's Montana Grill!
